ISB MODEL 210 TRIAL MIXER
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION/PURPOSE
The ISB model (210 trail mixer) is designed for batches of approximately 25KG. This model is supplied with material contact parts made from mild or stainless steel. The ploughs are driven by a 4KW variable speed drive and are designed to move the material from the ends to the centre of the mixing chamber. The ploughs run close to the mixing chamber wall to prevent a build up of product. For difficult to disperse products a high speed cutter is installed in the side of the mixing chamber so that during the mix the product is moved over the cutter by the ploughs and is finely dispersed.

OPERATION
Before the mixer is loaded the timers for the main ploughs and cutters are set. The plough motor is then started and is fitted to the required speed, usually on the variable speed drive unit. The materials are then put into the mixer and mixed for the required time. At any time during the mixing cycle the plough speed can be adjusted and the cutters turned on or off. When the product is mixed it is discharged through either a bomb door or an outlet valve.
MAINTENANCE
The (ISB 210) trial mixer is easy to maintain. The bearings and seals require regular greasing and servicing. For general maintenance of the mixing chamber, access is gained in seconds by removing the interlock key from the control panel releasing the clamps and opening the mixing chamber access door.
